Having been orphaned from their mother at an age long before the “BlizzardBeasts” are ready for venturing on their own, these two brothers found themselves alone in a cold dank cave. With only two seasons of learning to hunt, forage and shelter themselves between them, they were thrust into an early adolescence. While other “BlizzardBeasts” typically have a few more seasons of instruction before soloing out to apply their new skills, these two had to make do with less than half the training and no mother for guidance. At this level, thriving is a luxury. Not accounting for their slightly underweight build and delayed development due to the sharing a womb, survival, in its most crude, bare bones, fighting-to-live meaning of the word, is the only path before them. With twice the mouths to feed, they will need every bit twice the instincts to make it through their winters together. Should they make it into adulthood with themselves both wholly intact, they will indeed be the peak “BlizzardBeast” specimens for procreation, assuming they develop into typical stature for their species. But perhaps, they form a new, evolutionarily advantageous breed…
